New York, Feb 3 : A group of independent United Nations human rights experts on Thursday spoke out against the ongoing use of anti-terrorism laws to curb freedom of expression in Ethiopia, where several journalists were recently given prison sentences under such legislation.

China is willing to import more marketable products from Ethiopia and encourage greater investment in Ethiopia by competitive and reputable Chinese companies, senior Chinese leader Jia Qinglin said during a meeting with Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi on Jan 28 in the National Palace.

"ADDIS ABABA, Jan 24 (Reuters) Ethiopia has lifted its suspension of 35 athletes, including double Olympic champion Kenenisa Bekele, an athletics official said today after imposing a ban last week in a row over a training camp."
