My Aunt, Kathryn,told me about this.

"Dublin and London-listed group Tullow Oil has acquired a 50 per cent interest in a number of licences covering the East African Rift Basins of Kenya and Ethiopia, an area of 97,000 sq km."

This is the latest news as of September 2nd.

"Exploration company Tullow Oil is to buy a 50% stake in six exploration licences in Kenya and Ethiopia."
