Boise City, ID
After listening to hours of public testimony, Boise city leaders decided unanimously to delay the vote on a controversial taxi ordinance Tuesday.
After nearly three hours of public testimony inside the Statehouse Tuesday night, the Boise City Council has tabled a vote that could alter the City of Trees existing taxi laws. This comes as welcoming news for many cabbies who say driving their taxi is more than a job.
My friend, Tom,told me about this.
"The Boise City Council will be holding a hearing on new proposed revisions to the Taxi Ordinance within the city. They will be taking comments from the public before holding a vote one some of the amendments."
