A Beaumont man remains in Jail Monday morning after police arrested him Sunday for burglary of a construction site. Police say officers were called to a restaurant construction site at 325 Interstate 10 North around 1 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses say a man broke in and left with construction tools.

"A Beaumont man is held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail Monday morning after police say he stabbed another man Sunday morning. Police received the call around 3 a.m. Sunday. A Beaumont man, 48, was found bleeding from stab wounds at the corner of Calder Avenue and Ewing Street."

This is the third week this summer Beaumont provided live music and entertainment to local residents. Each concert is held at a different park and this one was at Magnolia Park on August 21.
