ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A man accused of killing two police officers - including a 1997 Franklin High School graduate -?in a small Alaska village has surrendered to authorities.A local official in the Southeast village of Hoonah says 45-year-old John Marvin Jr. turned himself in shortly before 10 a.m. Monday.

"ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Two police officers were fatally shot in a tiny Native village in southeast Alaska and authorities were in a standoff Sunday with the suspect, local officials said."

ANCHORAGE - A local high school graduate, who was known for his tenacity as a standout athlete, was shot and killed late Saturday, Aug. 28, while on duty as a police officer.Tony Wallace, a 1997 Franklin High School graduate and three-year state qualifier for wrestling, was one of two officers fatally shot late Saturday in the native village of Hoonah, AK.
