"Italy is planning increasing its natural gas imports from Algeria to meet the soaring local need provoked by the freezing wave sweeping on Europe, Italy Minister of Economy Development and Facilities, Corrado Passera, said on Monday."
Algeria is at risk of seriously damaging the relations with the countries of NATO. It would seem that in the past 20 years, this country has become a leading partner of the West in the fight against terrorism in North Africa.
I saw this posted Monday.

Algeria Foreign Ministry has summoned General Consul of France to express its objection to the new unilateral measures taken by France against Algerian passengers, as they are required to file their embarkation card to the consulate once returned from France.
I heard about this and just found this story.
